The Grant County Economic Growth Council is excited to announce the return of the CHARM Grant, a revitalization initiative designed to help local businesses beautify their storefronts and properties while strengthening the economic vitality of Grant County. If you’re a business owner looking to make visible improvements to your space, this grant could be the perfect opportunity to enhance your curb appeal and attract more customers!

What is the CHARM Grant?

Originally launched in 2018, the CHARM Grant successfully helped local businesses improve their exteriors through projects such as signage updates, murals, landscaping, awning replacements, sidewalk repairs, and façade improvements. However, funds ran out in 2023—until now!

Thanks to renewed funding, the Grant County Economic Growth Council is once again offering CHARM Grants to local businesses. This $1,000 matching grant allows businesses to undertake small but high-impact beautification projects that make Grant County’s commercial areas more attractive, welcoming, and vibrant.

CHARM Grant Details

  • Grant Amount: $1,000 (requires a matching $1,000 from the business)

  • Funding Availability: $5,000 total (Only 5 businesses will receive funding!)

  • Eligible Projects: Signage, murals, awning replacements, façade improvements, sidewalk repairs, landscaping, and more.

  • Priority Given To: Businesses located in downtown areas and projects with high visibility and community impact.

  • Rolling Applications: Apply now! Grants will be awarded until all funds are used.

How to Apply for the CHARM Grant

Applying is easy! Simply visit grantcounty.com/charm to submit your application. The review process will prioritize projects that have:

  • Strong visual impact

  • Alignment with community design aesthetics

  • Quick and noticeable improvements (projects must be completed within 90 days of receiving the grant)
