Grant County Manufacturers Give Back
$20,500 Donation to St. Martin Community Center
The Grant County Economic Growth Council recently had the privilege of presenting a check for $20,500 to St. Martin Community Center on behalf of Grant County manufacturers. This generous contribution reflects the ongoing commitment of the local manufacturing community to supporting vital services that uplift residents in need.
A Legacy of Giving
Grant County’s manufacturers have a long-standing tradition of generosity, and this latest effort is no exception. During the 2024 holiday season, a local manufacturer made a significant donation to establish a matching gift challenge, inspiring others in the industry to contribute. The Growth Council facilitated this challenge, rallying the community to support an organization that has been a cornerstone of assistance for over 57 years.
Supporting St. Martin Community Center
St. Martin Community Center plays a crucial role in providing food security to Grant County residents. In the past year alone, the center distributed more than 80,000 meals and 32,000 food boxes, ensuring that families and individuals facing hardship have access to nutritious food. The funds raised through this matching challenge will directly support St. Martin’s mission, helping them continue their essential work.
Strengthening Our Community
The success of this initiative highlights the strong spirit of collaboration and care that defines Grant County. Through partnerships like these, local businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders come together to make a lasting impact.
