Agricor to expand services and capabilities again in 2021

In 1984 when the Growth Council was brand new, Agricor was the very first attraction project with the organization. Agricor started with two guys out of Elkhart who had an idea and three employees. This project was a true start-up. The $1 million project consisted of the grain mills and company’s launch. Over the past thirty years, the Growth Council and Agricor have collaborated on several projects ranging from equipment to expansions for products ranging from corn flour to oat milk. In 2021, Agricor is expanding again with an $11 million project. Brian Anderson, the company’s CEO, is preparing the Grant County team for the future by adding new services and capabilities within the grain milling industry. The significant events Agricor has brought to the community means 90% of employees are Grant County residents, support in local causes, and participation in job fairs, local entrepreneur events, and community boards. Their investment in Grant County has brought well over $20 million dollars to the community.

As we wrap up Economic Development week, we say “Thank You Agricor” for being a part of the Grant County community for over 30 years.
