October 6, 2020 (Marion, IN) – For the first time, two businesses came together to apply for and share the CHARM grant funds. Congratulations, Linda Harmon, owner of Design Studio 407 and Dawn Conwell, owner of True Envy Boutique in downtown Marion.

The CHARM grant is matching grant targeting highly visible community impact projects, such as façade improvements, awning replacements, sidewalk repairs, occupancy of a vacant storefronts etc. The two shops will add outdoor signs to increase visibility. The new signs will also add a nice touch to the revitalization already happening in downtown Marion. This round of applications was one of the largest and presented several great projects. This made the selection process challenging.

“True Envy Boutique and Design Studio 407 are thrilled to have been chosen as Charm Grant Recipient’s. The Charm Grant will do just that, add new Charm to our downtown historic building’s bringing old and new together. We are proud to be members of the downtown community,” stated Dawn Conwell & Linda Harmon.

Thank you to all the businesses for applying. We anticipate the CHARM Grants will continue in 2021, so what can you do to add a little charm?
