James Beyioku hired as Project Manager
May 2, 2022 (MARION, INDIANA) —The Board of Directors for the Grant County Economic Growth Council is excited to announce its selection of James Beyioku, as the organization’s new Project Manager effective May 2, 2022.
Beyioku has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, where he recently served as a Project Manager for the Learning Experience Design department.
Beyioku gained a firsthand look into the GCEGC as a participant in the Young Entrepreneur’s Program in 2014. That experience, he says, allowed him to gain a good amount of foundational business knowledge and skills that he took with him as he began to serve in a variety of distinct roles in his early career. He has worked in Marketing and Community Relations and Business Office Management for larger and local non-profits. He also has experience working in higher education with IWU, not only as a Project Manager but also as a Community Coordinator in Residential Learning and a Circulation Assistant at the Lewis A. Jackson Library.
In the Project Manager role, he will focus on assisting the Executive Director in the execution of the organization’s strategic plan, completing professional functions and assignments as it relates to negotiating state and local incentive offers responding to requests for information, maintaining the site and building database, developing marketing communications, supporting community/quality of place planning and facilitating entrepreneur support programs.
We are excited to have him join our team!
