Businesses Invest in Grant County

The Growth Council is pleased to announce and celebrate with 51 businesses that invested in their businesses in 2020. For more than 20 years, the Growth Council and STAR Bank have recognized businesses that invest at least $25,000 in their business. In 2020, the 51 businesses combined invested close to $40 million. That translates to tax money for schools, transportation, road improvements, and quality of life benefits.

We did not want to miss the opportunity to say thank you! This year we hand delivered gift boxes instead of gathering for lunch because we wanted to air on the side of safety. Business owners received a gift card for lunch at Obi’s Barbeque, The Bridge Café, or Grains and Grill, weaver popcorn, STAR Bank swag, Midwest Coffee, Mama Pearson’s Soaporium soap, Growth Council swag, a decal for the business to display, and their crystal investor award. As always, Grant County residents, shop local. When you do, stop into these businesses, and say THANK YOU for making Grant County a better place.
