59 Businesses Celebrated for Investing in Grant County

MARION, INDIANA, TUESDAY, APRIL 25, 2023 – The Grant County Economic Growth Council and sponsor, STAR Financial Bank, hosted the annual Investor Appreciation Ceremony at the Firewater Mill. Each year the event honors the for-profit businesses committed to growing their businesses in Grant County – in turn, investing in the local economy.

The Investor Appreciation Ceremony has become a significant highlight on our county’s calendar, showcasing the spirit and entrepreneurial drive of local businesses. This year, a total of 59 esteemed businesses were honored for their remarkable investments of $25,000 or more into their own business and the community throughout the year of 2022, resulting in over $50 million in total investment. Businesses such as Feuerstein Fitness, Living Forward ABA Autism Center, Gas City Beauty Lounge, Firewater Mill, and others were honored. Attendees included honorees, community leaders, Growth Council board members, and elected officials.

The Growth Council extends its deepest appreciation to all the businesses recognized at the ceremony, as well as those who have continuously chosen to invest in the county’s growth. Each investment contributes to bolstering the local economy, creating employment opportunities, and building a stronger community within our county.
