Innovative Network

The Grant County Economic Growth Council is a founding member of the Innovative Network. It is a joint venture of Ivy Tech Community College, Taylor University, Indiana Wesleyan University, Affordable Housing Corporation, Marion-Grant County Chamber of Commerce, Grant County SCORE Chapter, Project Leadership, and the Indiana Small Business Development Center.

The Innovative Network partners offer free and low-cost information, management counseling, and educational services to small business owners and potential entrepreneurs. These services are provided either in small group settings or on a one to one basis.

The Connect Series is the Innovative Network’s biannual networking event hosted by the Growth Council and Grant County Young Professionals Network (GCYPN)  to present professional development and networking opportunities for college students and local professionals. Speakers have included talented and successful entrepreneurs and business leaders such as April Morris, former ABC Shark Tank contestant and Founder of THINgloss.
