The success stories of Grant County are many, and it’s the people behind these stories that inspire the community to continue their hard work. Judy Fitzgerald, a Marion realtor and board member of the Grant County Economic Growth Council, recently proved this to be true once again.
Judy Fitzgerald of Maidenberg Real Estate Services was awarded the Indiana Realtor of the Year last month. Earlier in the year, Fitzgerald was awarded as the local Realtor of the Year and was then chosen as the state winner. This award was a shock to Judy. In a recent interview with The Chronicle Tribune, Judy expressed,
“Of course, these are always a surprise,” she said. “I didn’t know that I was going to be picked either.”
Born and raised in Marion, Judy had become heavily involved in the community. She forms a part of the Grant County Economic Growth Council, Main Street Marion, Citizens Advisory Committee of the Marion Utility Service Board and Services for the Visually and Hearing Impaired, to name a few. As an active member in the community, she encourages everyone to get involved and make a difference.
“There are so many worthy organizations out there.”
Her knowledge in finance, negotiations and people have made Judy an influential person in Marion and the surrounding communities.
On behalf of the Growth Council, we congratulate Judy Fitzgerald on an award that is well deserved!
