Resource Guide for Grant County Business

The Grant County Economic Growth Council is proud to release the first edition of the Resource Guide for Grant County Businesses. This publication is part of the Growth Council’s Small Business Initiative.

Back in the fall of 2016, the Growth Council launched the Small Business Initiative aiming to provide more awareness and interconnectivity of resources for small businesses in Grant County. The first phase of this initiative placed pocket guides all over Grant County in offices, town halls and libraries. The pocket guides provide a snapshot of resources and organizations available to help small businesses looking to start or grow. The Growth Council team received positive feedback from the community and began immediately working on a more comprehensive piece that included some of the most common resources entrepreneurs are looking for and what this community has to offer small businesses.

The Resource Guide features more than 20 firms ranging in fields of expertise from accounting and finance to construction and advertising. Anyone is welcome to be a part of the guide—those wishing to be included need only to fill out the “commitment to offer” form on page 4 and send it to the Growth Council.

Kylie Jackson, President and CEO of the Marion-Grant County Chamber of Commerce said, “The Resource Guide fills an important role for our existing and potential local small businesses.  The Marion-Grant County Chamber of Commerce has been thrilled to be able to partner with the Grant County Economic Growth Council on this initiative.  The more that we partner and work together, the more our business community can thrive.”
