Grant County is centrally located with easy access to major metropolitan areas, regional and international airports, as well as rail lines, interstates, and Great Lake ports.



The Marion Municipal Airport offers many onsite services including aircraft rental and maintenance, fuel services, and much more. They also provide complimentary transportation for business day trips.


Norfolk Southern

As a leading transportation provider, Norfolk Southern operates 19,500 route miles in 22 states and D.C., supports international trade with service to every major Eastern seaport, 10 river ports, and nine lake ports, and operates the most extensive intermodal network in the East.

Fiber Networks


  • AT&T – Provides over 3,400 strand miles of fiber throughout Grant County Wire centers in Marion and Upland, could easily extend fiber to customers along Interstate I-69.
  • Zayo – Fiber comes from both Kokomo and Indianapolis through Anderson and Muncie.  1,500 total route miles. Runs through 10 of 13 major tech parks in Indiana. Connected to a statewide backbone that also connects to Chicago and Cincinnati.
  • Indiana Fiber Network – Over 1,900 route miles of fully redundant and self-healing fiber ring. Fully SONET protected network delivering guaranteed 99.999% or greater uptime T1 to OC192 10Meg to 10Gig transport options, 4 diverse Gig internet feeds, and state of the art collocation facilities.
